Dont worry i saw People with much more "bad " Language when they watched this Episode ( or others, that shows Motoyasus stupidity or Malty itself)^^ Btw: That Shield that attacked Motoyasu after Raphtalia and Naofumi used there Combo Skill is the Soul Eater Shield. He unlocked it after he absorbed Material from the Soul Eater that they defeated in the 3rd Wave. He is a bit more Powerful as the Chimera Viper Shield he uses all the Time ( The Shield with the Snake Heads) but in normal Combat the Viper Shield is more effective thx to the Couterattack with the Poison Fangs. The Soul Eater Shield, on the Other Hand, has the Counterattack that is very effective against Heros and Soul Like Creatures like Ghosts and such Stuff, Heroes get drained off there SP ( Skill Points, which they need to use the Skills of there Weapons) and if a Ghost or another Creature get the Counterattack, Naofumi can kill those Monster with it. Weapon: Soul Eater Shield Requirements Absorbing Parts of the Fish-Like Soul Eater from the 3rd wave. Equipment bonus: 「Second Shield」,Soul Resistance (Intermediate),Mind Attack Resistance (Intermediate), SP Up, Sp recovery (Small) True power: unsealed Special effect: 「Soul Devour (Counterattack)」

Without giving too much away. Melromarc’s religion worships the three heroes because they’re a human supremacist society. Previous shield hero sided with the Demi-humans so he’s basically the devil. The issue here is, that the church has been preaching all this time that the shield hero is the devil. It’s practically a cornerstone of their religion. And now Naofumi (who shouldn’t have been summoned to that country in the first place) is going around fixing the other heroes’ messes. You can see how that might be a threat to their religion. I’ll just leave a few notes here just in case: -Fitoria is basically dealing with the other waves at this point (She’s just that op) -There are separate waves, and the hourglass you’re attuned to determines which wave you’ll be teleported to. -The reason Naofumi is so OP, aside from the rage shield, is because of all the random, menial stuff he’s been doing. He just keeps unlocking shields, and each shield comes with some kind of stat boost. He basically amassed enough tiny stat boosts to outweigh the boosts the other heroes get from the pure power leveling/heroic stuff they’ve been doing. Raph and Filo are OP because of Naofumi. Oh, and the cowlick... we mustn’t forget the cowlick.

If i can give you a bit more information about Fitoria: She is only dealing with the Waves that happen in her territory, which means the Regions where no Humans or other Races are living. But the Waves take Damage to the Nature, the Animals and such so she deals with them. And also about the Waves.. they happen in Stages. But they happen all around the yet known Continent. If you registered to Melromarcs Hourglass, you get teleported to the Wave that happens in the Borders of Melromarc. you only can be teleported to another Wave in one of the other Countrys if they register there Hero Weapon there. The other things are right. Ren, Itsuki and Motoyasu are thinking they are in the Game they played, so they are doing the Stuff from there ( Leveling, Dungeons and such stuff) BUt Naofumi dont have a single Clue about the World, so he works in his own way, and like you mentioned, he unlocks anything, gains Statboosts and other things. I dont know if i mentioned under one of her Videos, but Raphtalia and Filo are so strong because he unlocked something like a Slave-Shield when he absorbed the Ink back in Episode 5 and a Monster-Tamer Shield ( was mentioned in the Light Novels) Thx to this Shields, registered Slaves and Monster in Naofumis Party gain not only a EXP-Boost, but also a Stats-Boosts and other good Buffs. Thats one of the Main Reasons why they can fight without Problems the other Heroes Party Member and even the Heroes themself without much of a Problem. And the other Stuff with the Church etc. is right almost completly. But if you are a Anime Online Watcher, i think we should wait for Episode 20 ( and maybe Episode 21) for more Explanations. The only thing i can say is that there is a lot more behind all of it.
