Posting another reaction to Tokyo Ghoul ahead of schedule bc yesterday I screwed up and started watching the subbed version instead of dubbed (Emmitt asked me to try the dubbed). I don't know if I think the English VAs are able to deliver the necessary level of authenticity and emotion compared to what the Japanese VAs were able to accomplish based on the first episode, but I'll wait to hear from Emmitt what he'd prefer me do in this case :) 

Loving the story though and the questions that the storyline and elements bring up for me... As I mentioned in the review part, I actually prefer the ED to the OP, but both are really good!
