I think this is really important: Fitoria hints that saving the world and saving the people of the world are two different things - the latter is a much more painful way but the correct one, according to the past Heroes.

In the LN series filo fights the queen and learn a lot of the queens moves and kept improving during the fight. She fared a lot better against her and was a lot more fierce. Second they didn’t mention it clearly here but if one hero dies the waves lvl of difficulty increases. Btw in the Light Novels, after Naofumi told Filo " To use your Head" she tryed to Headbutt Fitoria ^^

I saw someone comment on this episode on Crunchyroll "filler" and that was probably someone that hasn't even read the LN! Ugh. I love that they animated this and even though it sounds cooler in the LN, I'm happy how it turned out since I don't even know what we missed :P also the headbutt thing sounds so cute they should have put that in lol
