February update (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Good tidings on this February seventh..

I've successfully moved to Chicago! It was very stressful but now it's calm-ish. My stuff arrives on the 15th, which is when I will get back to work on SALIATOS. The goal is to finish SALIATOS2 episode 3 sometime this month, which will be doable once I get all my equipment back. 

I'm starting to shoot my first big live action project with Harrison and Parker next week! We're shooting the opening scene. We'll probably have it all finished by this time next year.

I have an interview with SAIC on Saturday, and find out if I got in on March 1. 

Goal for the next year is to finish SALIATOS season 2 by the end of August, and then start The Cone Layer in Fall, and if I go to SAIC, finish the whole film by the end of my two years there. I have 2 live action projects I'm doing with Harrison and Parker and hopefully some more that I'd be making in school.

And I think this might be fun to share, it's a compilation of animatics my Herbert Sorbet Studios friends and I made of our WIP show "The Herbert C. Sorbet Show". Isabel Higgins, Emily Martinez, Frankie Tamaru and I wrote all the episodes back in 2020, and then we did all the animatics in a few hours on Wednesdays in 2021 with help from Kelly Ficarra, Mel Murakawa-White, Yasmeen Abedifard. The theme song is by Ian Worthikids Worthington. Right now everything is unfortunately on hiatus and it's unclear if we'll ever finish them at this point, but I still really love them. They're pretty sloppy cuz of how fast we put them together, but I think they're really funny and charming. They also get progressively more insane and sadistic.
