Hello my beautiful patrons.

This project was very personal.  This song and the show mean so much to me, so I wanted to make a very simple version with the stellar Nathan Alef (check him out on Patreon).  

YOU ALL made this possible.  It was my first time renting out a studio and hiring a new cinematographer.  And that was doable because of you.

LA is totally insane, and let me tell you I appreciate the fact that you all exist right now SO MUCH.  We are really up-ing our production value out here and I cannot wait to show you what we come up with.

This is absolutely beautiful! It works perfectly with your voice; I like your version even better than the original. Please keep doing what you're doing. Not too sure about some of the wobbly camerawork but it's a great video, well done lookin forward to more in future :) Also nice Aeris hair at the end ;P

Wonderful job on this cover - Beautiful voice control, and you are injecting (?) the song with a lot of emotional control as well (probably a better way to describe that). The vocal/piano mix was very good, and the descant fills were great. Nathan does a great job on the piano, and plays off the vocals very well.

I still wish Nathan would sit still while playing he's too much of a distraction while you and E.Hollens sing anyway beautifully done vocals were amazing beautiful lyrics definitely going to have this on repeat

Haven't seen the show, but really really want to after listening to clips of the soundtrack and now this. Great. Now I have to wait until a road tour.... Beautifully done!!

Great audio-visual architecture (if you know what I mean). Fantastic shot editing and vocal intonions. This sounds like a Disney princess song and something from Doctor Horrible. That is compliment. If this vid is a sign of things to come, I'm even more excited about what you do next.

This is beautiful, Malinda! I'm not familiar with the show or the song, but I love this piano and vocals version, and your singing is particularly emotionally charged. And I love the little burst of fast editing at one point late in the video, with the editing mirroring the piano flourish at that moment - great choice.
