Lois Lane (My Adventures with Superman) (Patreon)

I spent some time trying to figure out how I wanted to do Lois in my style. I tried briefly to draw her in the anime style from the show, but the simplistic style just did not mesh well with my own standard style. Anime has a tendency to downsample the wide, potential range of people's faces, and simplify them into something cute and easy to replicate for the artist. Trying to port something that succeeds in one medium, and style, into another that is radically different ends up creating something uncanny. For me, I tend to do a bit more shading and detail work than the style seen in My Adventures with Superman, so I had to take what little defining features they give for Lois, and try and extrapolate into something more "real".

Do you have a favorite DC show? My Adventures with Superman is good, but I'm a product of the Batman Animated Series days... That show was the GOAT.
