Wonder Woman sketch and hand study (Patreon)

New sketches for everyone! Let me know what you think in the comments below... OH, and while I have you all here, any ideas on who I should put in next month's character poll??
---------------
I've been using these sketches and studies as a way to improve in isolated areas. It's much better for me to try and explore new things, and push my boundaries, in these quick one-offs, rather than try and do it in fully-finished Patreon Exclusives or commissions, when the satisfaction of the client is on the line. Previously, when I've been working on a Patreon Exclusive that's due in a few days, I'll have thought, "Huh, I wanna try this interesting pose that I've never done before" -- there's a good chance that I'll spend WAY too much time on it, tweaking little details over and over, erasing and redoing, until I've gotten too close to the publishing deadline for comfort, and the piece is only half done. It can often result in a piece that I'm not happy with, with weird proportions, or bad perspective.
Instead, in doing these quick sketches and studies, I'm able to do lots of new things in a short amount of time, allowing myself to improve. For example, I've always struggled with hands, but it's not a good idea to try radically new things in commissions or Patreon Exclusives, since there's a much higher chance of missing the mark. It's not guaranteed that all clients want to see the artist's experimental works in their paid commissions! So, I've explored a bunch of unique hand positions in the study, and I made sure to sketch them quickly, so I could build the muscle memory associated with those general shapes, ensuring I don't get too lost in details. Even now, in client commissions, I'm finding hands a bit easier to do, now that I've started building up these little neural pathways on unique hand poses.
As for the Wonder Woman sketch, I was getting a little burnt out on the Exclusive that's coming up on the first, so I wanted to get something done quick. Overall, it's something I'm very happy with, and I would consider completing in the future.
