Come on, man. (Patreon)

To the individual who posted some of my Patreon Exclusives online, without asking for my consent:

I think I might understand why you did what you did. You've obviously joined my Patreon at some point, and thus have access to all of the Patreon Exclusives, which means you've only spent a minimum of $25 bucks so far. You're doing this because you think you're being a nice guy; why have everyone join my Patreon to see my exclusive content, when you can just join yourself and post it for everyone else to see? You might think you're doing your fellow fans a solid, by making that content available, when it would otherwise by held behind a paywall on Patreon.

But, do you know why it's pay-walled? Do you know why I have Patreon Exclusives in the first place? It's because this stuff is hard. I have spent 20+ years developing my artistic skills, and a good 3-4 years since I started working on fetish art. It's because every Patreon Exclusive takes many hours to create from start to finish, which is time I could be working on my main job, or my post-graduate education. It's because I have nearly a hundred 100% free, 100% original and unique, piece of content on my DeviantArt, and MUCH more on my Instagram page. It's because I have a good number of fans who like my content enough to support me a bit every month, and I reward them in turn.

What you have done, however, is two-fold. First, you've essentially screwed over your fellow Patrons, my fans, who are kind enough to give me a bit of cash once a month. By posting the Exclusive content for free, you're telling them that they're essentially idiots -- why should they bother giving me any support, when they can just wait for you to post my stuff for free? Second, you've screwed me over; maybe there was someone who saw that Tease on DeviantArt or Twitter today, and thought "you know what, maybe I'll join for just this month, so I can see that new piece, and I'll be able to see all the older content while I'm at it." Instead, that person can just sit back while you drain my Patreon of its content, and distribute it to those who are patient and willing to just wait it out.

Maybe you're one of those people who just thinks everything should be free, and fuck me if I want to make some money while doing something I enjoy. Maybe it's more specific than that, and you just think it's unfair that something as seemingly mundane as foot fetish art should bring someone a bit of income. Or, maybe this is all just a big misunderstanding, and it didn't occur to you that these were Patreon-Exclusives, or you thought that you made those posts private -- honestly, at this point, the effect is the same.

Whoever you are, who posted my Patreon Exclusives publicly, please message me privately. I want to talk about this. You joined my Patreon, and had full access -- why would you post my content for the benefit of a bunch of random strangers, when you're directly hurting me? I'm a human being -- please treat me like such, and I promise to treat you like one. Reach out to me, and let's talk.
