Okay, so, I'm a little early with publishing this -- it's currently only 10:40 PM on 11/17, which is a few hours before I'd usually post the content for the month, but I figured I'd indulge myself, and any of you night owls.

Here is the promised Samus Aran piece, our Patreon Exclusive for the month of November. This piece was started a little earlier than usual, as I was expecting to be running low on time later, and it still was just barely enough -- I just made the final touches on this piece, and its variants, a few days ago. It was originally just going to be a basic background (if there was any one at all), but as I finished up Samus's figure, it became apparent that the piece was just missing something; that wide shot, with all that empty space, really demanded extra detail in the back -- and a lot of it.
I decided to go with the interior of Samus's ship, which would allow me to focus on minute detail, to distract from the fact that I have only very little experience painting backgrounds. This is actually the first piece where I started using perspective grids to really create a sense of believability, concerning where Samus is situated in the environment. I decided on adding the Power suit to the frame early on in that process, since you just can't have Samus without her trademark armor. c;
I'm still really struggling with mapping textures on perspective-oriented planes, and I also need more textures in the first place. I've been so overwhelmed with work, though, that I've just been powering through all the pieces I need to do, without trying to explore new add-ons to my formula too much.

As usual, there's the collection of different variants here, depending on your particular tastes...

What do you all think? Please let me know in the comments below!

I could use a few textures for metal, leather, and cloth, if you have anything like that.

Love this so much! Any chance for a clean barefoot smelly version?

Yes, I can upload that to the post in a little bit. Just double-check the post in 24 hours and it should be up.
