Sadako (The Ring) -- Exclusive 2 of 4, 10/24 (Patreon)

I saw this post from a Twitter cosplayer, and felt an overwhelming urge to draw Sadako, the creepy ghost woman from the Japanese Ring novels and films: https://x.com/VAMPlREGF/status/1836162254317703218

It felt a little odd rendering her, because the outfit and overall design is so simple -- it was as if I was missing something. I sometimes find that I lean heavily on intricate details to fill out the image, so when I come across a design that's pretty much just a white dress, I feel like I'm skipping something important. I can always go with more and more detail with rendering, but I have to be careful, as that can throw off the balance of the style. I try and keep a middle ground between a very stylistic cel-shaded/anime-esque look, and a more realistic smooth rendering style. So instead of going too deep into rendering, I just went in and cleaned up the details and refined the edges.
