This is one of those pieces where I had a reasonable version of the piece 90% done -- only to spend several more hours adding details, doing dialogue, and the like. I don't know to what extent this is because I'm technically inefficient, or if this is just the consequence of wanting to put out a detailed, multi-variant piece for you wonderful people. I feel lackluster when I put out something that's less than my best. XD
