I'll be honest, I have only ever played some of the newer Tomb Raider games, but Lara is clearly beloved by fans of the originals.

Do you have a favorite out of the old ones? Which one would you recommend for a new player to start with? :O

Your foot tops are getting better. :-) I'm currently playing the remaster with mods that make her go barefoot (only her default outfits, unfortunately) and alter her footsteps, so that you actually hear the pattering sounds of her bare feet. I don't know if I have a favorite, but I've always loved the Japan level in Legend, where she goes to a party in a black dress and discards her shoes as soon as the gunfighting starts. I think I'd recommend Anniversary, since it's essentially TR1, but with updated controls and better graphics (though still not great by today's standards).

The tops of feet are strangely difficult! They can look simple at first glance, but they have this really irregular, complex pattern of subtle shapes, due to the unique fine bones, and overlapping muscles and fascia. Ooh, I love that you have the footstep sound alteration -- I have something similar for Fallout 4! When I'm feeling frisky, I'll have my character go barefoot with little pitter-patter sounds. XD
