⭐ Welcome Appreciated Patrons!!

It has been a rough update but here it comes at last 😀

Vivian’s deeds continue to take over the world, now with a new recently developed plugin to integrate interactive animated scenes within a single plugin.

⭐ What’s new?

I’ve just tested the whole game up to the date, there is no new addition, nor animation, besides some fixed frames I made for the Ivy Maidens, and there’s still a lot of work to do with the monster girls before joining more ladies to the party.

Let me some more fixes to make the engine stable and I'll start preparing the bargain scenes to join monster girls to the party 😛

Oh ... but there are TONS of new Voice Samples form our Talented Voice Actress Diva, Midnight Datura 🤤 Use the headphones just in case ...

ℹ I keep working on the scene audio playing, so there's the chance that some sounds overlap or play on different animations than the expected, but these are just few scenes which need to be updated to the most recent fixes of the plugin.

⭐ So, how does it work?

Static and straight scenes

Monster girls and foes may capture Vivian after losing the battle, so they will play a managed scene outline, maybe with some chances to jump to different scenes, such as escape attempts, or even introduce come interactive frames to let the player hit over the spot to cause an effect, instead of waiting for a static scene and a menu to choose what’s left to do.

ℹ These features  won’t come soon, at least, until I can advance the project a bit further to a safe and playable state.

Interactive Scenes

Vivian will test her furniture and devices, in the dungeons and other unlockable places she may interact with.

For these scenes the player can select the toolbox below the gauge bars to select the desired tools to play with. Each tool may have a specific effect or increase the tickle points to score faster.

  • Dungeon Guests: Let vivian tickle and interrogate the prisoners in the unlocked devices.
  • Vivian at the Dungeons: let Vivian try and test if her new toys are up to her expectatives and use her henchmen to have a funny and amusing time 😍
  • Playing around with some furniture: vivian may relax and lounge, or do some homework to keep her tower neat, play pinups and let her ethereal naughty henchmen to tease and massage her 😙
  • Domination scenes: Not yet available, but will help you to capture and tickle-tease your foes, especially the monster girls, who can be joined later to form your party and combat team.
  • Bargain: what if in the middle of a struggle with her foes, Vivian could perform a specific action to enter in a bargain mode or scene? So if the player catches up a specific frame when required, we could miss the gameover and open the dealing logics to obtain a fair trade with the monster girl, such as joining Vivian, opening some side quest, revealing more secret spots in the map and providing some interesting item…

Now these options become more feasible with this update 😉

⭐Debug Mode

Just after the intro scene finishes and opens your first quests, you'll be prompted to enable the debug mode, You can do it either way from the player menu asking Boo for settings and enable the debug mode.

When you activate it, a new npc will spawn in Vivian's chambers  to offer you all the scenes in a hierarchy of menus 😁 so we can have here our first gallery mode to play around 😉 but feel free to explore the game to learn how to unlock more rooms and features with the resources you find through the maps, it's somehow also satisfying 😛

We are on a testing stage, so everything may blow up, be ready for any bug 🐞

I've found an issue which may become unsafe for creating many more scenes and framesets for the game and I need to solve it before proceeding with more animations.

I’ve already been hitting the top of the plugin system capabilities, due to the insane amount of framesets I made for many scene setups, including the dungeons.

🤔 Now, how to fix it?

Obviously I should reduce the number of frames and size of pictures to export for many scenes, since I’m now able to manage the frames more efficiently with the plugin setup.

Also a good point would be to reduce the use of interactive layers to a specific set of frames, instead of breaking the plugin by filling all frames with lots of hotspots 😂🙏🏼 I know I'm an @ss, I had to test it up to break it and it's been working fine until these late fixes😛

Duplication of toons of animation layers and their hotspots overloads the editor and eventually causes CTD on RPG Maker MV because of memory or other bs. That breaks my progress and I must care to save often before it blows up xDDD

ℹ This hasn’t happened with the gameplay up to the date, but just in case, I keep you informed there’s the chance it happens at some point.

My next goal to prevent this is to optimize the sizes and the amount of animation layers and their rules, specially both for Vivian and the prisoner dungeon scenes 😉 Let's make it neat!

⭐Restoring older saves

As always, you may play the game from the beginning, or copy and paste the saved games from previous versions from ObsidianLust/www/saves into the same folder of the new update.

Waiting for your comments and feedback, I hope you have fun with this new update, and do not hesitate to send me any issue you find while playing the animated scenes, since all of them should now work with the new engine.
