Here's a quick source test π (Patreon)

I'm sharing a first source for those in the community who want to try out some variations and palette changes π
I'll prepare some more to play around, with a basic setup for the first tiers, and a more complete range of options and variations for Golds+
How to
- You may download alice-wot.zip and unzip it to get alice-wot.aseprite.
- Download and unzip LibreSprite to open the source animation.
- Or, if you own or can afford Aseprite (also on steam) you'll get way more options!
You may tick on Auto Select Layer checkbox, so you can click over the elements in scene to select them.
Then you may explore the whole frameset where every layer (vertical rows) can be edited and changed as you like, and every frame (horizontal columns) are the animated sprites to play in the animation.
If you click on some labelled frame such as preview-1 or 2, when playing, you'll show the animation of such label.
Then you can play around moving, editing, replacing (copy-paste) and practicing with the pixels π
A nice effect is to select a layer (head, or l_foot, for example) then hitting CAP + R (replace color)
Then you can pick any pixel color from the scene FROM and alter to the desired color TO.
When you are happy with the result, you can Save As a GIF animation image (or CTRL + CAPS + S) from the save dialog, although I think LibreSprite won't give you many options to choose which tag or animation to export, besides dumping it all.
As a free option, LibreSprite is quite limited and may work weird on some controls, while Aseprite is still being updated and works neat to manage multiple layer changes at once and handle better exporting options. If you own aseprite (also available on steam and maybe at a lower price on some steam sales) you can open the same file and use the full features of this lovely graphics suite π
