GHPC December and January roadmap update (Patreon)

Hello all!
The end of 2020 is approaching, and the team is pushing forward hard. We've got some exciting new features planned for the next update. We've also evaluated our progress and our plans for a public demo update, and we've updated our timelines.
First of all, the end of the year will see a new patch to the Patreon build. This patch will include the dynamic fire and explosion system, some updated models, a new map, and combat AI. If all goes well, it should start to make the demo feel less like a museum and more like a game again! As usual, your feedback helps make GHPC better with each update. Let us know your thoughts when the patch arrives!
As for the public demo, we've said for most of the year that we planned to finally release an update to it at the end of the year. In the end, that timeline was a bit too ambitious. This year has been trying for many, our team members included, and it set us back somewhat. While we could have the public update ready by December 31, we've decided not to rush things. Instead, we will take time in January to polish the game and prepare it for the public update.
Patreon subscribers will continue to get the latest updates as usual after the public demo update, for the foreseeable future. Your demo will not remain the same as the public one; we'll update that one rarely if at all until the vertical slice is ready.
