Big Important News (and also less important news) (Patreon)

Hey everybun!

I have a lot of news to share, some important, some just fun, and some, uh, somewhere in the middle?

Anyway, let’s get the important stuff out of the way first!

I’ll be traveling outside of my snowy abode in Canada for the first time in... uh... I don’t have enough talon... so it’s been a while. I was invited to an author thing in California, and I decided that it sounded like a cool way to hang out and make new friends.

So off I go!

I’ll be leaving on Thursday night, and the even/thing should last about a week. Counting travel time and so on, I’ll be gone for... basically ten days.

But don’t worry! I bought a laptop!

It... broke the moment I pulled it out of the box.

But don’t worry! I bought a second laptop! (And returned the first one)

So I might still be able to write and such while I’m on vacation. I... don’t know if I’ll be in the right mindspace for my normal content, so my plan is mostly to wing it (hehe). Most I think I’ll write little snippets and ransom ideas for the stories I need to post that week.

Anyway! That’s the Big news out of the way! Onto the more fun stuff!

The Derp Committee of artists have delivered the cover for Cozycore!

Qida was the artist who made the final version, but I wanna shout out Poopalicious for their help as well! 

I think it looks pretty good! I’ll be using the left-side of the image to make the front cover of the book, the right can eventually be the paperback’s rear cover. Pretty exciting, actually!

In fact, since I’m sharing one cover... Here are two more!

These are the rough drafts of the Magical Girl Crystal Genocide, Dead Tired, and Sporemageddon covers!

Some are more done than others, but I’m pretty happy with how everything is progressing! It’s exciting!

Oh!

I also partnered up with my friend and beta reader EmergencyComplaints! We’d been talking about writing something together for a while, and even got a couple of chapters down when the RR community contest dropped. The theme was mirrors. Our story was called Mirrorborn... soooo we might have launched it a little early?

Oh well! I’m pretty proud of this one. It’s way, way outside of my ballpark, but I think the Worm fans among you might like it!

What else...

Fluff is getting a webcomic! The first chapter’s ready and done, but I’m not quite prepared to share things yet. Once there’s a small backlog, then you’ll all get to enjoy that! It’s genuinely fantastic, and real heckin’ cute!

TL;dr: Going on a ‘vacation’ won’t be writing as much as before. Some things might be delayed for 10ish days or so. Then things should return to normal.
