Happy Anniversary! What made you decide to start making videos for YouTube 12 years ago?

Happy anniversary Ann!! I've been watching you for such a long time and I've enjoyed the growth of your content.

Happy anniversary! My life is better with H2CT. Thank you!

Love this. Between lockdowns and non-Covid health problems, you were a sanity saver for our family during 2020. We binged watched your videos so many times. 😁

Happy Anniversary! 12 years and one best-selling cookbook later, you are still a well-respected voice of reason in the wild-west of youtube. Oh, and the tormentor of Dave with those awful "life-hack" recipes.

Twelve years ago and the instructions are STILL great! Always a pleasure to watch!

Congratulations Anne! Also thank you Dave for being such a great sport! 💗❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎

Happy anniversary Ann (and family really!). I've only started watching in the pandemic, but the fortnightly Saturday morning videos are a great breakfast treat!

Congratulations!

I had maternity leave coming up and decided that while on leave I would write out the recipes that friends always asked for onto a website. I set up howtocookthat.net and aimed to write out one recipe a week with photos. A couple of the recipes - like this decoration - were easier to explain on video than text. When it came time to upload it to my website the file was too big. So I uploaded it to youtube so that I could embed it on my website from there.

Oh, wow! Thank you for taking time to reply. I think it says a lot that you didn't set out to become a big YouTube channel but to help your friends. Congrats and I wish you continued success!

I just wanted to say thanks for your wonderful channel! I discovered you through your debunking videos, but it’s been great watching all your stuff! I love seeing the food science stuff in particular. Also, my first-grader stumbled upon one of your videos while seeing my YouTube feed, and now you’re part of his nightly bedtime ritual!

I started watching a few years ago when you were making very creative, very amazing cakes and have grown along with you to new topics. I especially appreciate the explanations of the science behind some of the things you do. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
