Street Talk and a Whimsical Gingerbread House

It has been such a complicated year so I thought a simple, whimsical gingerbread house that everyone can make at home was just what we needed. Dave & I also took to the streets, well walking paths, to ask people lots of Christmassy questions.

I've been making a gingerbread house for Christmas for the last 15 years. Do you have any Christmas traditions in your family?

Another fun thing to do if you can get hold of some of the cheap gingerbread house kits is to buy a load of extra lollies and make your own royal icing. Then you can host a gingerbread house decorating party / friendly competition. Be warned it does end up with your floor getting rather messy so save the mopping for after everyone is gone. Depending on where you live and your current lock-down restriction levels you may need to modify this and do it online. Which lets face it is never as fun, but better than not at all.
