And then having made a more scripted and less ramble video about it, I forgot to post it on Patreon for all you lovely people.

Sorry about that.

I Learned Stage Combat And It Was AMAZING

Where have you been, Jill? Well...umm...Sandwich, Kent, in a boarding school, for a week, getting an APC Basic qualification in Rapier and Dagger, Single Sword and Unarmed stage combat. No, seriously, this is What I Did On My Holidays by Jill, Aged 32. I had the best time, 10/10, would recommend. As long as you don't mind sweating continuously for six days and gaining a large collection of weird bruises. http://theapc.org.uk www.jillbearup.com

Think of all the books you could read in the meantime 📚

How do you practice in order to avoid forgetting everything you learned in the first class in the time it takes to get to the second class?

When you do it in a week you don't have so much time to forget, but you generally start with a brief reminder of what you did the day before. And then by the fourth day you're just into choreography so it's all written down and you just need to work it through. I figure it's going to be harder to remember with longer gaps in between, but I did a fight workshop last weekend and I remembered most of it, so hopefully it will stick around.
