Here is a 6-step process of the Lilly painting from concept to completion.

Also included here is the source file for the painting of Lilly. You can download the PSD source file here. There are separate folders for each alt: bow, top/bottomless, and tan. There is a full tanlayer for both her clothed and unclothed that you can edit as you see fit, as well as the farmer's tan version, which should give you a good idea of how you can change the intensity of the tan, as it uses the "multiply" layer mode to darken the skin.

Don't have Photoshop or software that will open Photoshop files? You can open it with online PSD editors like Photopea. It will also load in other painting software like Clip Studio Paint, Krita and GIMP (amongst others), but they may not necessarily support every Photoshop feature and thus may look different when you open them in other software.
