PSD BASE DOWNLOAD - PROTO POP ANIMATED (Patreon)

Hello everyone! This month I wanted to do another fun little animated base for you all! This base offers both Primagen and Protogen in 'pop cat' meme form, a simple and silly base to work with!

I have included the colourful backgrounds that were available in previous downloads as well as the assets below:

Step by step for Animating

Step1

Step 2
Choose the assets you would like to use, modify and colour the base as needed for desired look. You should be left with 1 copy of the character with the mouth closed, and 1 copy with the mouth open. Backgrounds are totally optional, you can go for transparent or another background of your choice!

Step 3
Once you have your two frames (As shown in the 10 step animation tutorial) se the speed of each frame to ' 0.1 ' of a second. This seems to be the most optimal speed for the animation but you are free to set the speed as desired!

Step 4
Save the .gif file correctly within your desired program, if using photoshop you will have to go File > Save for web & devices not 'save as'.

Tips for this base
Many of the layers will be turned on / off, please make sure to tick through and check what layers are visible. For the diamond plates and additional ear sets, you may have to erase some of the original base layers (folder named POP PROTO BASE) to get of layers poking out from underneath.

You are more than welcome to redraw all the assets or simply just re-colour them!

BASE GUIDE / RULES  
- File is PSD, should work in most drawing programs
- Do not redistribute the base/PSD outside of Patreon
- You are free to either 'colour in' the base or redraw the piece (Trace over)
- You are free to add/ change / remove features of the character to resemble desired look! - You are free to change the species from the original base
- You are free to ask a colleague / artist to help with the base so long as its within our members.
- Make sure to check if the layer is locked/unlocked if you are experiencing issues.         
- Personal use (Your characters) has unlimited use.    

SHARING RULES
- Completed compressed copy of the base can be shared online. (Your completed copy)
- PSD file can only be shared among Patreon members / Modified by Patrons only.  

NON PATRONS / GIFTS
- Each base is allowed up to 1 gift use for non-patrons, this is to ensure that the content is not being used excessively for non-patrons. (Making a completed piece for a non-patron user.)
- Patrons have unlimited gift use to other patrons.

*Make sure to check the layer properties if you feel like there is an error with the layer! Some of the layers may be locked or set to particular layer filter (Example - normal, multiply, screen etc) You can easily adjust or change these setting in SAI / Photoshop and similar programs.
