Hey everyone! This month's PSD is now available for download! I wanted to do another animation piece for you all so here's a fall themed icon! The frames for the animation should be included but if not I have labeled each of the leaf frames!

Contains:
2x Protogen Armor types (Angular & round)
3x Ear sets (1, 2 & 3 pairs)
2x hand sets (4 & 5 digits)
3x Facial expressions (Happy, Surprised & angry)

A Primagen version of the base is also available to patron Primagen owners, please DM on Patreon to request access thank you!

Animation Process
Please check out my previous animation tutorial for more tips, example images and information ---> https://www.patreon.com/posts/psd-base-scream-41738766

Step 1

- Complete the character template available, please feel free to mix and match assets in the PSD and add your own to get a personalized look! The leaf has been coloured for you but you are always free to change the colours /leaf type etc!

Step 2
- Once your Proto / Prima character is coloured you can open the PSD in your preferred animation software. (I highly suggest starting with something simple and free, here's a list of a few to research:  https://learn.g2.com/free-animation-software  ) In this I use photoshop CS5.

Step 3
- I have already added the frames for photoshop, they may also open in your preferred animating program but if not you will have to create each frame for the animation.

Animation bar in photoshop: Window (tab) > Animation

(Depending on your program the layout may vary slightly, but the features are generally the same)

- Your first frame should contain no leaf layers to give the leaf some time to come into frame.

- LEAF SCENE 1 will then be visible for FRAME 2 instead of directly sequential. You will end up with 15 frames in total and should look something like this:

- Above you can also see how long I have set the time duration for each frame, this speed set up looks the smoothest but you are more than welcome to change it up!

Step 4
- When saving your gif files please make sure to choose File > 'save for web and devices' otherwise your gif will not animated and save flat like a .png. A new window will pop up once you click it, this is the settings you will want! Make sure that you click 'original' as it will open on 'optimized' as default.

- Open your animation and test it! See how it looks, if you are happy with the speed you are now complete! If not, go back into the file and adjust the frame times, you may find something that looks nicer to you!

Tips for this base
Please check out my art tutorial, it has the brush settings used in this piece!
- You may want to adjust the layer positioning (bring layers forward/backwards) to get maximum results! You can also try removing the far ear to get a better look with the ears/ hat position & horns!
- My line art layers have been set to 'multiply', you may want to change the layer type back to normal to get more opaque lines!
