[EDIT} Got some good feedback from Patrons already made it so I'll be tweaking these around to give you all as much value as possible without giving me too much more work!
I've been told by many an artists that I've been underpricing myself alongside my work and that has been eating at me.
I want this to be a realistically sustainable tip jar and way to give back to my community, not another source of stress.
Adjust your budgets accordingly.
Here are the proposed changes:
Triple Treat [EDIT]
Quaint Quinte
+ Early Access (Finished) comic pages with text now land here. [EDIT]
It has come to my attention that I seem to be underpricing my early access compared to a lot of artists in the field. Far from me the desire to overprice so this is staying here.
+ I'll be adding works in progress of my upcoming worldbuilding, original species and projects here.
I am currently working on an original setting for all of my OCs including Clarance, Drystan & Louvine and etc. just to name a few. it'll be interesting, promise.
Decade brigade
- Removing the stream commission priority, moving it up to Overkill fifty. (Since nobody from this tier was using it)
+ Bumping Comic WIPs to here. They'll be uploading onto the Patreon discord to avoid spam with the occasional bundle here on Patreon.
+ A new Discussion channel will be added to avoid spoiling others on Content [EDIT]
+ Might reintroduce headshot rewards if I get the time.
Quarter One-hundred
So the more complex the design, the less art will be draw to keep quality consistent.
A big reason I've fallen a bit behind on these is due to my desire to stream them, so I'll likely just start drawing some on my own time, sorry.
Overkill fifty
= Pretty much same as the tier above.
+ You can submit your characters to be background extras in my comics going forwards
= Bumping stream commission priority over to here (there will be a cooldown period to avoid the same 5 people snipping spots over and over though).
= If a certain number of members is reached in their tier, then it'll become first come first served or I'll downgrade the sketch to make time.
+ I'll be uncapping this tier so more people can join.
Saint Cent
- I'll be removing the exclusive sequence perk. While neat, it's not sustainable whenever something comes up and messes up my schedule EXCEPT
= You still have access to a colored sketch and can make it TF, on top of merging the rewards for a multimedia sequence
= You can still hold months in order to get a more detailed reward [EDIT]
And I'll be adding some new goodies that may be even better:
+ You'll be warned early on selected TF stories or Comics; which leads into:
+ If you are interested in the next TF story, you can request your character to be the or one of the victims. (Note that there will be a lot more artistic freedom with these, so be warned.)
+ Priority Patron rewards and sketches
+ Priority in the server VC and events
+ I'll be uncapping this tier so more people can join.
To clarify: When talking about sketches with be taken from one pool. Once I get past a certain number of patrons and rewards to do (like maybe 10-15), I'll prioritize things like this:
Saint Cent > Overkill Fifty > Quarter One-hundred
ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING!
I'll be less responsive to DMs.
I've been swarmed with them as of late, making it almost impossible to keep up with those.
So I've incorporated a Patreon ticket to the server for your questions.
I'll be updating the rewards for the sake of newer members but people already having Patronage will keep the current perks until then.
For comics the changes will apply here on the Patreon but Legacy benefits still apply on the discord.
If you disagree with any of these changes or have suggestions for rewards that wouldn't be too difficult to keep up with, just let me know in the comments.
Note that most of the changes aren't in effect yet, so if you change your tier you will lose access to your legacy benefits.
If all is good these will fully take effect for the July cycle, so in month more or less
So watcha think? Lemme know.
My goal hear isn't to milk you all out of money but just to make this sustainable for all parties involved. Heck it's a big reason why I haven't moved to pay up front.
