My first reaction to the new JoBros album is right here! Before you watch this though you should know that this is part 1 of an experiment I wanted to do. I've always thought that the 2nd listen for albums is almost always a better representation of how the album actually feels. And to be completely honest, usually, when I listen a second time, I'm rolling up a little sum'em' sum'em' (marijuana). SOOOO I wanted to see which video ends up being preferred by y'all. So if you have some time today please watch both of these videos and let me know how you feel about this in the comments. The only way I'm able to do stuff like this is because of how open-minded and patient - so thank you HT Hotties. This is me taking a risk.

For real, I enjoyed the second stream more but tbh it was because I’d seen the first one so it was a second listen for me also! I think it’s probably always going to turn out a better video if you do a second listen for the albums that feel kind of mid the first time around, but also I just watched your video of Slut Pop from Christmas and no way that would have been half as good if you weren’t hearing those songs for the first time! It’d be hard to know until you know I guess.

OG Joe girlies rise up 🙌🏻 Feel like they definitely just didn’t say a lot in so many of these songs which is disappointing, but I can also see it growing on me more in time. Can’t wait to catch up with the second stream!

as a 16-year jonas brothers fan, i love that this was the first patreon exclusive you posted after i joined. i feel seen. as an unfortunate diehard of theirs, we've learned to grow accustomed to being let down by them. i don't know if it's management or laziness or some type of disconnect but it's imminent and it's annoying. They've been catering nonstop to TikTokers and influencers and it's such a turn off for all of as that actually support and fund their careers. They spend more time promoting their popcorn than their music and it makes me sad. When social media just started and no one really knew how to use it, they felt so much closer than they do now and they were at the height of their popularity. They know they've got the support of the general public and can play off the nostalgia and I just wish they put forth a little bit more effort for the people that have stayed through everything. It's hard to believe their best work was when they were teenagers but I think it's true and it always will be. But I'm very happy that they're happy with this album. They're in a good place individually and together. I love that you love DNCE. I saw them 7 or 8 times? First time was at Aisle 5 in Little Five Points and it was only like, 250 people? Crazy. But Celebrate! gives me major DNCE vibes, especially when Joe talks. Miracle is fucking incredible. Summer Baby has been my favorite since their album preview event in February in Vegas and still is now. She's about to be pushed to radio so I think that's technically the next single. Summer In The Hamptons makes me feel overstimulated and not in the best way. Walls is fucking inCREDIBLE and even more incredible live. You should watch their SNL performance of it if you haven't already. I wish this album had more depth. Everything is generic besides the "Jersey" and mention of having brothers, which is still next to nothing. They all could be samples Jon passed on. I'm happy they're happy and it's a great easy listening album, but my heart is still with A Little Bit Longer, DNCE and Nick's second solo record. Also yes, weed does make music better. I feel like I can hear every layer and instrument and harmony in a song when I listen while high. It's like another version of Dolby Atmos. My favorite thing to do is take an edible, hook up my AirPods to my TV and watch concert videos on YouTube. A dream. And the closest I'll ever be to actually seeing *NSYNC.

Agreee with u sooooo much on the disappointment and social media thing! As a fan since 2006 I flew from NYC to Vegas to see them in feb and the show I went to had 2 bus loads of Influencers there… they played maximum of 70 mins and left no encore nothing…. It was deff an album promo for sure!! I’m hoping the tour lives up to the hype.

Hope you'd react to Happiness Begins too!

I know you said you’re already a DNCE fan but I’d love to see you react to DNCE the album! I’m still bumping tracks from there on my playlists to this day

I was there in February! The influencer thing drove me mad. Besides Haley Lu Richardson. I've been to every Vegas show they've done at Park MGM/during their residency and they've definitely gotten better over time catering to deep cuts and special surprises and whatnot but that show was something elseeeee. That's how their surprise show in LA was, too. Completely catered to influencers who left halfway through while at the other two surprise shows, they literally ripped up their setlists and played so many songs that usually get paid dust. We were pissed. The Reddit is pretty entertaining and validating to read, tbh I bought Yankee Stadium tickets during presale and then they announced night two and then said the entire tour is going to be the same way and it just felt like such a marketing ploy/false advertisement with how much they stressed the "one night only" of Yankee Stadium and then threw that completely out the window and decided to make the entire tour that way bc of the "response" when I literally work in touring and know damn well that was the plan from day one. Makes me sad. No one's forcing me to go to the shows but I'm mainly there to see my friends and because I'm scared I'll regret not going or have fomo but I just wish they rewarded more than just the "omg i had their posters on my wall in 2008" general public/local crowd

I actually love this album, but in a *no thoughts, just vibes* kinda way. The songs don't have much to them but they make me want to sing them in the car with the windows down
