Hey y’all, so here’s the uncut stream of us listening to the new Ed Sheeran album ”Subtract”. Spoiler warning: it’s sad 😅 but sad in a way that doesn’t really make you cry hard but just kinda feel bad for him. I wrote a deeper review on my AOTY account so hop over there if you’re interested. I’d love to know what you thought of the album down below 👇🏼 also let me know if any of the interviews Ed's done are worth the insight cause I might wanna watch those for Patreon exclusives.

YES! The Disney+ doc gives an helpful insight on the record and on what it is about, and obviously on what was the process behind it. The Zane Lowe interview is well done too. Anyway, super excited for Speak Now. Sparks are literally going to fly. 💜

Wait does nobody know who Greyfriars Bobby is?? Lewis isn’t that much of an unprovoked sicko to kill off old man and a dog for a laugh, it’s based on a real story!! It must just be known to Scottish people mainly. You can visit the grave Greyfriars Bobby guarded for 14 years in Edinburgh!!! There’s a statue of the wee dog 🖤

Did you ever listen to F64 on a stream? That song fucked me up for a good minute.

Congrats on the YouTube numbers!!! I have appreciated your Taylor Rep reactions on TT as well!

Sycamore and the Fields of A are my fav tracks!

The interview with Zane Lowe for subtraction is amazing, but the Disney+ plus Docuseries is sooooo much better!!!

Loveeeee - would you consider reacting to So Far So Good by The Chainsmokers or Memories Do Not Open by them?? I absolutely love both albums and I think you’d really like their sound!

I got a few songs in but then got an email that you posted this video and stopped to hear it for the first time with you 😂

I enjoyed the album a lot, which was a relief because I haven't really thoroughly enjoyed an album release of Ed's in nearly a decade, lol. But I do hope you check out his documentary some day -- I was curious after listening to Subtract and decided to watch it and...wow. It's heav at some poins, but the context makes the album hit a lot harder, in my opinion.

Troy, you were quite spicy in this review 😂 And I totally get it. As someone who saw Ed Sheeran live for first time at a free concert in San Francisco Park many, many years ago, I hold on so hard to that first album because it really made you feel something. Subtract ALMOST did that for the first time in a long time for me. The lyric’s definitely were saying things, but I still feel like it wasn’t acoustic enough, if that makes sense? Like there was too much Aaron in it.

the chat on this one was so insufferable jesus christ

His Documentary Sum of it All is fantastic! Beautiful look at his thought process into this album and his life they way we've never seen it. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

Leann Cummings

I agree… I already loved Ed but sum of it all really humanized him in a beautiful way…

Was not expecting the Lewis Capaldi bit at the end. So glad to see it because it's so good, but man that video still makes me cry and I've seen it so many times.

Maggie Ruane

You need to watch the sum of it all on Disney+!

Anna

his newest album autumn variations is also very good! you should react to that soon

The way it was killing me that no one told Troy that two of Ed’s friends died and his wife had cancer all while being sued in a couple months span…killing me.
