Hi, watching this on a sick day from work and I COMPLETELY agree with everyone suggesting you check out her second album Surrender. It is different, but just like Pharrell was saying, the most prevalent thing about Maggie is that it Sounds Like Her because no one else is doing it like her. I'm a vocals person, and if you think she sings with her whole chest in this album, she BODIES her vocals in Surrender. I've been following her since her first EP Now The the Light is Fading (also a very cool listen, she specifically sampled nature sounds for every song on that one, which Alaska and On & Off are both originally from and is why you get those bird wings in On & Off) and watching her evolve as an artist has been joyous. Even though her discography is comparatively small, I find myself coming back to her again and again. Also, my main quintessential Maggie rec is her song Satellite, which she wrote when she was 16 or 17. It's incredibly moving and will stick with me forever. Anyway, this reaction very much brightened my day! Thanks for all you do!
