An excellent "Tale of Terror-styled" scenario, with 3 different options to suit each game master's needs. I love scenarios in which players have to face difficult moral choices and this one is a great example.

Loved the options and the location. The box happens to be burried south of the Mitchell Caverns, wonder what's in there? There's also a few old lava tubes, difficult to find, but they are underground. There was alot of volcanic activity here back in the day and it was an inland sea as well. There are fossils if you dig deep and in the right spots (maybe of the tentacle kind). 29 Palms is also the largest Marine base in the US so i'm sure there's someone there monitoring Able, or to assist the agents. Inland Empire is referred to as 'The' Inland Empire, and mainly as 'The IE' or 'The 909' from the old area code... and residents from there are referred to as 909ers (and it's not meant as a compliment). Sadly no bears. Oh, and as an interesting note, about 110 miles west, and a little south, is the San Andreas fault. (where the 15 fwy crosses the mountains south of Hesperia). Anyway, just some extra stuff to tack on if one desires. Fun mission!
