The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 28/August/2020 (Patreon)

Emotional week this week! Writing-wise, I mean, hehe! 

I finished A's scene for the second set of split scenes in chapters 3, now I'm onto the final set of split scenes (which are romance ones).

I finished A's single romance scene, A's version of the LT dating N romance scene, and A's version of the LT scene not dating A romance scene.

I think this is the first instance where a love triangle scene will be decided by the hidden points of who you've been choosing. So even if you've chosen to date N, you may still get A's scene here...

A lot of variation and a lot of angst! Like, even for me, it was A LOT of angst, hehe! Things are definitely heating up on that side of things. Getting harder for the two of them to be around each other without all that brooding intensity not leaking out :D

Normally, I plan out the scenes in a specific order so as I don't bunch up one vampire's scenes all together, like what happened with A this time, but for some reason I planned the second set of scenes out of order which meant A's all fell together. And it was INTENSE, let me tell you! Pushed my emotional writing to the limits, hehe! Will definitely be more careful how I order everyone's scenes in future.

I also focused on getting the first demo for Book Three up together, and I think it's 99% ready to go! Edits are all in, so it's just a bit more on the graphics I need to do.

The plan is to release it for patrons of Crow Quill and over on Patreon next Wednesday, and then do a public release next Friday! So excited for you guys to try it out!!

For Creek Edge I made some more huge strides forward for the MC sprite customisation. It's about 92% complete! Everything in the customisation screen actually works and is coded in!!! Such a massive task and a huge relief to get that finally done.

Just need to save the expressions (which isn't technically part of the customisation screen, but still need doing!), do art for the unique customisation for each species, and shade the clothing! Then I can start making actual head way into the demo for that too!

For Update+ this week, I thought I'd share something a lot of you have been waiting for:

This pops up in a choice set, so you may not get it, but it's starting....hehehe :D
