Question for Adam and Nate: “How long have you known each other? Did you know each other as humans? How did you meet?”

They glance at each other, instantly breaking into smiles at the memories they seem to share.

“Oh, it’s been quite some time now,” Nate answers. “Almost longer than we can remember.”

“Almost. We have quite a few memories we share,” Adam says.

Nate leans forward in his chair with a soft laugh. “Do you remember that time in Spain with the imps?”

Adam rolls his eyes, shifting his folded arms tighter across his chest. “How could I ever forget that?”

“Oh come on, Adam.” Teasing tugs on the edge of Nate’s voice. “They just liked you, that was all. Really liked you.”

“Hmph.”

Nate shakes his head with a continued smile. “Anyway, back to your question. We didn’t know each other as humans. Adam was born long before I was.”

“As to how we first met,” Adam begins to continue the conversation. “Well, the Agency introduced us. We became Unit Bravo after that.”

Wistful looks overcome them both as they seem lost to the thought of their first meeting.
