The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 29/March/2019 (Patreon)

Made a real great start to Chapter 9 this week! 

I actually ended up adding in an extra scene for each LI that wasn't planned, so that put me a little behind. But I think it's worth it for what it added!

I'll be starting on the first friendship scenes decided by friendship points today! Looking forward to that, particularly M's, hehe :D

As for March's goal, well, I am very pleased to have completely streamrolled past it!

My goal for March was to complete Chapter 7, and not only did I complete it, I finished Chapter 8 and got about a third way into Chapter 9 too! Woohoo!

For April's goal, I would like to finish Chapter 9 and get 2 of the LI scenes done for Chapter 10.

I do have the scenarios for Patreon to do during April as well, so that'll be a good heft of writing to get done! But I'm feeling confident about it :)

Looking through my plans, I forgot how completely massive Chapter 11 is :D So I got to make sure and build myself up for that one!

For Update+ this week, I thought I would share something pretty big about one of the upcoming, um, 'features' I suppose might be the best way to put it.

The reason Chapter 11 is SO huge is because there's a branch to it, so pretty much 2 versions of Chapter 11 along with unique LI scenes for each version.

In Chapter 9, you get to decide how you will go about starting to increase your MC's defenses against supernaturals.

For Book Two, the choices are:

Supernatural Combat or Supernatural Research.

Chapter 11 is where that choice is realised and you begin actually working on it *cough*sparring/training scene*cough* :D

But don't worry, the research side of things is going to be just as good...trust me ;D

But yeah, here's a little snippet from Chapter 9 when A and N are really getting to act like siblings in their petty arguments, hehe:

${nate} steps forward. "This situation could have been avoided altogether if $!{callme} was better informed. $!{mc_his} focus should go on research instead."

"Research doesn't help fend off a raving supernatural," ${adam} adds with a scoff. "Unless you plan to hit them with one of your hefty tomes."

"Oh…" ${felix} hisses out a sharp breath. "That had to smart."
