When I have time I am trying to get some good pieces knocked out for my portfolio. The first articulated figure that I have put together for it is the Decepticon's Ravage. Not including his segmented posable tail he has 18 points of articulation. Another 8 poa in the tail. Design went pretty quick on this one with about a week of dialing the tolerances for the ball joints. I 3d printed this whole thing (including the chain leash) on my Elegoo Jupiter. I'm trying out some new resin and I really like it. I may be making a permanent switch.

My version of Ravage is based primarily on the G1 Transformer toy that I had as a kid. I always oved his silhouette and wanted to keep that intact. I also looked at some old comics for inspiration on some of the other details.

This is 31 pieces not including the leash or the tail. It is a bit more advanced of a 3D print. I designed it solely with resin printing in mind.

I will be posting the files for you here tomorrow. The tolerances are dialed in for my machine and the specific resin that I used. You may need to sand down ball joints or build them up. More on that later.

Do you suggest using ABS-like resin for this print?

I used Elegoo ABS-Like gray for this and most other prints. I used F69, a TPU like resin for the tail and the collar.
