Production update 2023-02-15 (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

I didn't keep my promise. I said I'd finish the script by the end of last week, and that was a pure lie. All of it. Not a word was true.

I ended up finishing the script today (pending some corrections and a few details, of course). I completed a production schedule and started recording as well, so things are going well. Here it is!

As you can see, my original planned release date is still holding up for now. This week is a bit rough, with two very dense sections on Thursday and Friday. I am expecting to fall behind a bit, but I planned ahead, because next week is very light. The entire week's sections total less than 1500 words (7.5 minutes) and almost all of it is fairly light editing.

Here's how progress is looking like:

Production livestream

Unless something prevents me, I'm going to stream production this Friday. EDIT: Something did prevent me. It's really dumb: I was woken up abruptly this morning when I received an unexpected package and the guy knocked really loudly on the door. I opened my eyes as I jolted awake and hurt my cornea because it was a bit stuck to my eyelid. I've had it worse before, it's not that bad and it should heal within 48 hours, but I'm going to avoid screens for a couple of days. I'm postponing the production livestream to this Sunday instead.

I plan on tackling the hardest part of the video on that day, so I need the extra work ethic that being live gives me, and I might need some motivation when I reach a roadblock and I just want to go lie in bed instead of working through it. Time isn't set in stone but I'm aiming for something like 13:00 until 18:00 EST or so (18:00 - 01:00 UTC).

So far, I don't really have much to show in terms of cool editing, other than this path of the route taken during the run.
