Production update 2022-08-12 (Patreon)

Hello!

This update will be quick because I'm leaving for the weekend very soon and I have a bunch of stuff to do before I leave.

I worked hard this week! I dedicated one full day to understanding and synthesizing the entire route used for the new TTC improvements. It was tough, but I pulled through. After that, the rest of the script was a breeze to organize. Did I say organize? Sorry, I mean write. Yep, script is completely done.

I also organized the production schedule. Note that there is a decent chance that new developments happen in the coming weeks that would extend the length of the video and therefore delay it. So, take the current planned release date with a big old grain of salt. I'm fully expecting to release the video at least one week later, maybe two.

So! Script fully done, 8100 words so roughly 40-43 minutes. Again, will probably be longer, possibly up to 10k words (50+ minutes). Release date September 17th for now, but most likely later.

With my girlfriend's new job and therefore new schedule, my recording days are now Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I decided to give myself a four-day editing week, with potential to catch up/get ahead on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Tuesday is reserved to edit for Kosmic but I usually have at least half a day to do other stuff. I don't want to overload my schedule too much, as getting ahead of it is so much more motivating than falling behind.

Finally, there will be editing streams again but I'm not sure when yet. Stay tuned for announcements on those.
