I don't think there's a specific name for when the OST breaks for a second before kicking in again, however the composer for KLK Hiroyuki Sawano is so famous for doing it that it's come to be called a Sawano drop when he does it, the most obvious one in this show being every time we get that little bit of silence before the chorus of Before My Body is Dry kicks in with the "Don't lose your way" There's a fantastic video on it that I've sent on the discord before, I'll send it again later in the series (edit: after ep 24 actually) since it has some spoilers that'd be pretty noticeable since you're watching the show right now. One thing with Gamagoori's size is that almost no matter what he's the largest and most imposing person wherever he is, but this episode in the flashback we get to see a very rare scene of Satsuki towering over him, really puts her ambition into perspective.
