Hey, Zen! We actually do know why Zeke has those abilities, remember? He has royal blood in him, as he is Dina Fritz's son. That's actually the whole crux of the plan to activate the Rumbling between Eren (Founding Titan) and Zeke (part of the royal lineage), and the reason Eren managed to control those titans back in season 2 when he punched Dina's pure titan (the smiling titan). Wall of text and opinions incoming: Man the Attack Titan looked sick in 2D at the end. Hopefully with the wait we'll have more 2D instead of mostly CGI next season, especially since they'll use another 9-10 months to make it. It's been confirmed that they'll be making a part 2 (more than likely not a movie since they have less than a year to make it) and it'll be out in December 2021 or January 2022 (Winter season 2022). There's 23 chapters left to adapt so it's gonna be about 13-15 episodes if I had to guess. Anyhow, I personally find it annoying and somewhat comedic that Connie, the guy who couldn't even understand why Eren was cry-laughing at Sasha's death and completely misunderstood it seems to think he knows and understands Eren enough to say why he is acting the way he is. I understand why Connie is like that with how much he cared for Sasha, but I still find it kinda laughable. He should be asking questions and thinking things through like Jean, "if he really is sane, I doubt he would act like this for no reason". Everything Pieck said was facts and pure logic, and I think she knows it too deep down... Which is why I'm so confused why she'd abandon trying to save herself and her dad by working with Marley because she... "Believes in her friends"?, lol. Kinda cheesy if you ask me. Man that Armin crying scene saying how "moved" he was over euthanising his own people was weird. It seemed so genuine so is that another case of him maybe being affected by Bertholdts memories I wonder? Personally I can't get behind the Euthanasia plan at all because it doesn't solve a damn thing. First of all, people with Titan powers live only 13 years (unless the founding power can somehow change that too?) so somehow in some way they will need to get more babies for the royal blood line WHO WILL KEEP GETTING SACRIFICED which goes completely against the theme of "getting the children out of the forest" like Sasha's dad said. Sacrificing kids over and over goes completely against the narrative, especially with how Eren used to see things. Even if it's not multiple new babies being born just to be sacrificed it's still Historia's baby being born, only to then be forced to live a life which is purely about being sacrificed by spending its entire life just being a slave to seeing this Euthanasia plan through. It seems to have a lot of holes too. It's just a bad plan overall and solves nothing. Also fun fact: if you look in the crowd of people at 17:40 or so in the episode you could spot Galliard among the Jeagerists and if you go back to episode 14 you can spot him among Floch's crowd opening the door for him near the end of the episode at 17:20 ish. I'm so excited for what's to come. This next part of the story is by far my personal favorite. Enjoyed the reaction as always! :)
