I didn't know Shawshank Redemption was one of your favourite movies. I definitely need to rewatch it as it's also one of my favorites, been a few years since I saw it. I like this Tenma prison arc, it's cool to see him get an opportunity to prove his innocence legally, we'll see how that works out... Can't wait for more!

Eva is easily one of my favorite parts of the story the longer it goes on. I hated her in the beginning because she is such a superficial and entitled person, using Tenma for her own ends. But it’s so fascinating to see how his love for her actually did have an impact on her. She knows she’s been a terrible person but she also realized after her father’s death, that he really was the only person that actually loved her. From then on numbs herself with booze and lashes out each time you think she learned from the past. That’s why I love the episode with the gardener so much, you think she’s getting better but she just got worse from then on.
