Yesssss, oh man there are so many moments here where as the viewer our minds are just totally blown. One of my absolute favorite reveals is how they managed to perfectly sync up Erne realizing how Titan Dina allowed him to access the founder with the audience having the same realization I was watching for it and your eyes opened just a second after Erens, love it! Take care

I loved this episode when it initially aired. In Part two we have had great speeches, jaw dropping battles, massive lore drops… But with the return of Historia this episode it really must take my #1 spot! There was also that final few minutes which blew my mind and I still don’t think I fully appreciate the incredible depth and thought put into this story. But yeah, that surely comes secondary?

Wow, just one episode left! I can't believe the journey is close to an end.

Dunno if you noticed but the show is named after erens titan ( the Attack titan ) but it didn't make sense when they aired the show in the west so they changed it to Attack on Titan. so contrary to popular belief the shows name isn't taken after the people fighting or attacking the titans its named after erens titan.

Yeah I believe the most direct translation is something like “Attack of the Titans”, but it’s also a cool play on words in Japanese so they probably got more from that reveal :)

People theorize Ymir either wrote the paper with her blood as ink, or she was crying while writing the letter. Only explanation for getting a flash back there. Personally I think she was crying, makes you cry more when you listen to Ymirs OST 😥 Edit: or maybe the power works on objects too, who knows

This one and the preceding episode probably dropped more lore than the rest of the series up to that point combined. A point to consider though might be that we saw all that from Grisha's point of view, who basically became a religious/nationalistic zealot who wants to exterminate Marley (understandably so). Plus we don't even know which version of the Eldian history is correct. According to the Marleyans Ymir and the Eldians brutally conquered and subjugated everything in sight, but according to the Eldian history books their were benevolent rulers who brought peace and prosperity. It's probably not as black and white as it is in Grisha's memories, especially considering that he couldn't even decipher said history books, as we saw last episode. Just saying. Also, the way I took Ymir's "It won't be long til I die" was that she was about to be eaten by one of the Marleyan warriors in order to steal her power. That would explain why Reiner and Berthold thanked her and tearfully apologized to her after she agreed to go back with them to their home town, back at the end of S2. That would also be the most logical thing seeing as the Marleyans probably wouldn't want to let her die of natural causes since in that case they wouldn't be able to predict to whom the power would go to next. By the way, seeing as this season of AoT is coming to an end, and in case you are looking to replace it with something that is kinda in the same vein, I’d feel remiss if I didn’t mention Vinland Saga. It’s also by Studio WIT and it was easily 2019’s best anime for me, beating even S3 of AoT. I think you would really enjoy it, plus it wouldn’t be too big a commitment since it is only one season á 24 episodes.

I see, I can understand why they changed it, hope you are well, take care!

I supposed it could be either way, we just don't have enough information yet to figure it out, I am sure we will though, thanks Loro, take care!

Yes, I need to be sure to keep those things in perspective, very true, Hunter X Hunter will be replacing Attack on Titan, but I have plans for Vinland Saga once I finish Made in Abyss (coming up after Re:Zero, this week!) Thanks for your insight Sal, take care!

There was no flashback in the manga when historia touched the letter, its an anime thing
