The manga went from '94 to 2001. This adaptation, however, was done in 2004 and went until 2005. Not quite a 90s anime, but it certainly feels like one! The production is so good and the overall quality stays consistent throughout. Really captures that 90s aesthetic.

the pacing of this is incredible, it doesn't feel like anime even. Usually anime is plagued a bit by the medium of manga and the week to week publication but this feels like a film.
