Oh man I haven’t seen this show since I’m 15 probably and it held a special place in my heart then and I was reminded of that here, this show is very innocent and even childish in some of its styling and such( it is about high school after all) but It actually hits some deeper notes, things most people probably don’t fully understand till their older but that a younger audience would certainly feel the significance of even if they don’t fully understand, also Nagisas mom and dad are some of my favorite characters :) lol

Man, I became a patreon only because I wanted to watch this with you! The soundtrack is absolutely beautiful, they take it directly from the Visual Novel(the adaptation is amazing, the best VN adaptation there is!)that Clannad is based. I've cried hearing dango daikazoku and your father's history. You gonna love Clannad, it's definitively your kind of story!

All of the music in the series is from the visual novel that the anime is based on, which came out in 2004, so it's definitely dated.
