Oh man I could talk forever about this episode but shortly, Kenny is a evil selfish bastard who’s dream was compassion what a tragedy especially since he had already found it in Levi but gave it up. Also I love that scene where mikasa tells historia to right hook Levi since she’s the first of the cadets to out rank him and mikasa still holds a grudge from Levi always beating eren in season 1

HIstoria's grudge with Levi makes much more sense in the manga since as I mentioned, he roughed her up to break away her hesitation in becoming queen.

Whenever I watch this episode I always find Kenny and Uri’s relationship so interesting. Especially with their almost conflicting views of violence and non-violence, despite being friends. Having grown up underground, Kenny must have never seen such an act of compassion until Uri showed mercy on him and apologized for what was done to his family. And while their views fundamentally differ, Uri understands the nature of the world to often be violent, and Kenny seeks the ability to be compassionate and have understanding like Uri. It’s honestly a beautiful dynamic.

What if you see the opening for part 2 just once on episode 1? I dont think just watching it once is going to spoil you something, then you can continue watching it on episode 6
