Zen Reflection - Ocarina of Time Saved the Day

Comments

Felipe Aranda

Hey! I had a similar situation, I played Ocarina like 5 years after its release when I was like 6 years old and around that time my parents used to fight a lot, my parents where never the usual happy couple, and that game was a way to distract myself, specially when getting to the Water Temple, which was pretty hard at the time for my 6 year old brain and so it played a big role during my childhood. It’s nice to hear how it helped other people as well. :D

You're a great person Joseph and I don't doubt your reactions cheer plenty of people up, I tend to watch them on my break in work and it's like having a good friend to chill out with and watch some anime :) anyway thanks again for all you do :)

we had very similar experiences growing up in school, it's almost mirror like except I didn't go somewhere rural, but I did go to a small school. the Fire Temple was always my favorite temple and it's awesome to hear how the game affected you.

I had a very similar childhood as well, funny to see how so many people with similar backgrounds can end up in the same place. I love Ocarina of time too, Although the version I played was the 3ds version,I had never played a Zelda game before at that time so it holds a special place in my memory

Same here, it’s comforting to know there are others out there that have had similar experiences. Take care!

It is a great one to be the first Zelda you played. We are like stand users drawn to the same place, glad we are all here. Take care!
