Singapore is indeed very clean, largely thanks to the steep fines for everything from smoking and littering to chewing gum. They're proud enough of the fines to sell T-shirts that list them, with captions like "Singapore is a FINE city". They also have huge malls with a McDonald's in every food court. You can collect months' worth of Happy Meal toys from past decades in a single outing.

It's awesome that you noticed that sixth star in the opening, it'll be fun when you discover what results from that! Also, Araki himself picked out the ending songs for each opening so he and David Production are worth thanking for such awesome song choices :)
