Finally a new graphics card! (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I have great news :)

I just wanted to share this with you! I finally managed to get a new graphics card <3 

I've been struggling with my old card (GTX 1070) for quite a while. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing card for gaming and still runs a lot of stuff pretty great but especially while using it for DAZ Studio and creating all my work here, it really started to show it's age.

I initially didn't wanted to upgrade this late in the current generation cycle. The next GPU generation is expected for the end of the year, so it's not that smart buying new hardware now. But with all this amazing support from you I still took the jump and got this amazing card. It's basically the older brother of my old one! I didn't go for the absolute crazy ones like the RTX 2080ti because I still plan to update, when the next generation arrives :)

In the meanwhile this card will give my system and my workflow the boost it needs. It's almost a 300% increase in power (when it comes to DAZ Studio)! I can render scenes almost three times as fast and especially during the actual creation of a scene everything is so much more smooth and updates much faster! I'ts heaven!

This wouldn't have been possible without all of you! The corona crisis also hit me financially but I still was able to do this upgrade! I am thankful everyday to have this awesome community that enjoys my work so much and I'm always pumped to create new things for you!
