heh. Well Kvald is not exactly a word but it's close enough to Kvalinn or Kvöl that I assumed it could be from the same root as torture or suffering. Could also be Kvöld, which would make it evening. The other words are Icelandic though. :)

Something interesting I found, according to google translate(I know its bad, but its the best I've got to work with) in Norwegian, "Søv.. Kvad skal viet." so not quite but close(sounds pretty much the same out loud) means "Sleep.. Poems shall be dedicated." Somewhat fitting, in a weird 'just doesn't quite translate' sort of way. And now maybe I can start thinking about something other than words that don't exist...
