I picked up Spintires this week... I didn't back it when it was on Kickstarter because I wasn't sure it was my type of game. It certainly didn't sound like it. But after it blew up and was Steam's #1 for a few days, I decided to check it out. It's probably one of the most entertaining offroad games I've ever played (disclaimer: I have not played many). The mud and water physics are awesome, and this is weird to say, but I got one of my trucks lodged between two trees for like an hour, and enjoyed every minute of it. I brought another truck in to try and push my first truck free, and then ended up getting that truck stuck in the mud too. After a lot of perseverance and some crafty winch work, I managed to get my original truck free. It was a real feeling of accomplishment. It's a very neat off-road sim, but I really don't know how to hype it to people. Talking about it, or even watching someone play it, seems so incredibly dull, and yet it isn't!

If they made that the actual game description, I would buy it in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
