Who just spent the last two days reworking and finishing the script for the first Ethan and Lucas reboot comic book? This guy. Thanks to your willingness to support this comic directly, I'm now full steam ahead on the reboot. With the reboot, I've always been adamant about finishing each issue in its entirety before I release it. Not only does that let me take as much time as I need to make sure it's the best work I can do, but it will also alleviate dragging the story out at only three updates a week, but letting me put up a page daily. The problem was, how do I accomplish this... essentially working on an extra 24-32 pages, on top of my regularly scheduled updates, and not have it take FOREVER. Well, my first approach was the possibility of replacing some panels with prose. I did a test project for this hybrid method with The Evil Within story last fall. Reception was mixed, but overall positive. And while I like that hybrid method, and enjoy storytelling in prose (and hope to do more projects like that in the future), in the end it just didn't seem right for the Ethan and Lucas reboot. So, I shoved it to the back burner again and thought about other options. Recently, as much as I want to do everything on my own, I decided to bite the bullet and hire a colorist to work with me on The Starcaster Chronicles. It's shown me how much I could be accomplishing if I delegated some of the work to other people. Its freed me up to focus on creating the content, and as a result, I've been churning out more pages and better pages than I otherwise would have been able to. I'd like The Starcaster Chronicles to be a periodic, ongoing thing. I'd like the Ethan and Lucas comic books to be a periodic, ongoing thing. I'd like to continue to do gaming-related one-shots in-between it all. That's a ton of work for me to manage, on top of my new family. However, removing the very time-consuming responsibility of coloring the first two of those three projects suddenly makes it feasible. And your support makes that a possibility. You guys will be the first to get any information about the long overdue reboot from here on out. I'll have more specifics soon, but I can tell you that as soon as I'm done with this first issue of The Starcaster Chronicles, I'm putting pencil (stylus) to paper (tablet) on the first page of Ethan and Lucas' new adventures. It's time to get this thing going.

Cannot wait to see the reboot! The death of Ethan almost killed me too! He's my favourite character that you ever created, so really looking forward to getting him back!
