Comic for Monday 8/28 (Patreon)

Honestly, I don't know why it's so hard for DC to just get their shit together when it comes to film. 

For the record, I actually like the concept of making one-off films using comic characters where you let a director/creative team loose to do their thing, without being tethered to a huge movie continuity. 

But its a really tricky proposition, even if your existing cinematic universe was on really solid footing (which DC's is not). The more fervent fans will obviously follow what's canon, and what isn't. However the general movie-going population is bound to get confused when there's a movie with Jared Leto's Joker and another movie with some other Joker kicking around theaters within the same couple of years. 

It just seems like a mess waiting to happen.
