Greetings, esteemed world builders and storytellers! We take great pleasure in launching our new application, Deorum. Deorum is a tool conceived and developed for the world builders, who are perpetually on the lookout for a reliable and rich source of unique fantasy characters.

Deorum offers a comprehensive gallery composed of over 1600 pre-created, customizable characters from 32 diverse fantasy races. Each character is unique, boasting a distinct portrait and a detailed biography, serving as a potential inspiration source for your next fantasy project.

The uniqueness of these characters lies not just in their names, but also in their carefully crafted portraits. The basis of these portraits is 120 original, hand-drawn images. These core models have been multiplied into over 10,000 variations using advanced AI image generation techniques. These generated images undergo rigorous curation and modification processes to ensure usability.

A major highlight of the application is the biography of each character. These life stories are manually plotted before being developed and refined with AI technology. The result is a library of intriguing biographies that can breathe life into your stories.

✏️ Seamless character creation and customization:

Deorum boasts a user-friendly character customization interface. Users can not only edit the existing characters but can also create new ones and generate comprehensive biographies using GPT-4. However, hosting this functionality is not free for us, and so it has limited availability. Patreon supporters can receive additional usage coins based on their support history. Currently, this process of increasing usage limits is manual, so please contact us via your Patreon account to request more coins. Should there be enough demand, we will consider process automation.

🎨 Creativity freedom:

Within the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, Deorum permits you to use and edit the characters. Essentially, you can use them for free in all your non-commercial projects.

Our ultimate aim is to help the creative minds of the fantasy world to flourish, and Deorum is our new humble contribution toward that goal. Despite looking like a relatively small project, it took us about a year to build. We are committed to relentlessly refine and improve the tool. Some images or biographies could still appear slightly off, but rest assured, we are working meticulously to enhance these aspects.
