HF Patch for KKS v1.19 (mods up to 2024/06/24) (Patreon)

An unofficial patch for Koikatsu Sunshine that installs the latest fan-made English translations and essential mods. It also fixes many common issues with the game. It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless content creation and gameplay improvements.

Koikatsu is split into two parts: character and scene creation tools (character maker and Studio), and an adventure game with story mode (it can use your custom characters, but not scenes). You can see preview videos of the game and some of the mods here.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. Unfortunately there is no English/Steam release and the game is no longer being sold, so the only way to get it is to buy it second hand.

The base game (Koikatsu Sunshine), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

Downloads

This download contains the entire HF Patch and can be used offline. You can use qBittorrent or a similar torrent client to open the magnet link. Old patch versions are available in direct download links.

Full patch (Everything is included, most people should use this)

Light patch (Small size, only use if you regularly update with KKManager)

Read before installing

  • Before installing check this installation guide and FAQ.

  • If you have problems with installing the patch, check the solutions to common issues and the rest of the readme.

  • The EX expansion is entirely optional and can be skipped. It adds 4 new personalities with new type of events unique to them (old characters can't use these events). Remember that if you add the expansion later you will have to install HF Patch again afterwards.

  • If you need any further help check the wiki first, and if that doesn't help then ask in the #help channel of the Koikatsu Discord server. The #help channel is the fastest way to get help, you can even search it for your issue to see if someone already answered it. There are also chat and card sharing channels on the server!

  • To keep the download size reasonable, some rarely used and very old content mods or studio mods might not be included. If you have trouble loading characters or scenes, you can download the missing mods by clicking on the Update button in the game's launcher.

General question: Should I be getting Honey Select 2 DX from DLsite or from Steam? Also, do we lose download access to removed games if we purchase them on DLSite after they are removed?

You can update clothing and studio mods through the game launcher. Plugins and other updates need a new version of the patch to be installed (you can use light patch in that case).

Hello there, I know I just asked a question a few days ago. But now I just found a new problem. And that problem is, I can't mouse click to touch or interact with the character in the H-Sence, Both in Free-H and main game. It's happened just a 2-3 days ago. I don't know what happened, It's a bug or some thing? Can you help me?

HF patch is install. Can play the story but the Character creation is censored. Whys that?

in an h scene the chara transitions into another pose during an animation but for me it is locked and repeats the same pose. is ther a keybind the disable/enable this?

After Updating, the Stiletto mod/plugin just completely disappeared. Pressing RShift does nothing and even searching for it in the plugins menu doesn't show anything. I still have my Stiletto Folder but it only has the parameters saved for the Stilettos, none of the actual functional files.

It asks if you want to remove old mods and plugins when installing. Some will always get removed if they are known to cause issues. It never removes cards or anything else inside the UserData folder.

I didn't want to rush, But just curious. How long will it be before we see some more type of pussies? Like that we have in Koikatsu party. Especially the BP version (It would be great if we could have many more of that) Although it doesn't have much effect on gameplay. But it's just felt like something is missing.

At the moment there's no work being done on it. Anyone can learn how to convert the KK uncensors into KKS, ask on the discord server in the mod-modelling channel.

It seems studio vr is messed up know though, I can't adjust the FK or IK of characters anymore, when I try to move it nothing happens, and I can't save a default character or scene parameter anymore either, the option is just gone (even the options for character lighting are overlapping each and I can't access some of the options) some eye textures/overlays are missing from some of my characters now too (and I've only ever used mods that came from the patch or were given out by you like the public vr patch) On a related note are the older versions of the patch still available? I would love to re-download those

You can download older versions of the plugin on its github page https://github.com/IllusionMods/KKS_VR/releases It sounds like your game is borked in some way since there should be no real difference in the latest patch compared to previous. Post your output log file in the help channel on the discord server with an explanation of the issue.
