Progress update and what's coming next (Patreon)

Hello! Just a quick update to let you know what I've been working on in the past week. 

I'm preparing to release an update to the Koikatsu HF Patch. I spent a bunch of time testing and updating some of my KK plugins, and helped fix some plugins by others. It was all minor work across many projects so I didn't post any updates here. The patch should be out within a couple of days.

I'm also preparing for Illusion's upcoming new game - HS2 (I believe it will drop around 29th this month). I'm helping to make the custom launcher easy to port, and preparing the modding API, bonemod and some other plugins to be (hopefully) quickly ported to the new game.

I should also be able to squeeze in a major mod update in between the patch and the new game release, it's a mystery what it will be though :)

I wish I knew what exactly caused it, it's probably many different factors lining up at the same time. Many people used my mods for a long time now, and right before the increase I added some benefits (I've had no benefits for almost 2 years), so this might be the main factor. Well, in the end knowing why is not as important to me. What matters is that I'm really thankful to all new patrons, and I hope I'll live up to your expectations!

At the moment I don't know much about your project so I can't really say, I would have to look into it to see if I would feel comfortable with sending my patrons over. I'm a bit tight on time so it would need to wait. You contact me on discord if you want to talk more about this.

Lets be real, Megas shutdown of Koikatsu content was the best thing that happened for you financially. That is what made it spike and the direct download link for the HFPatchewas locked behind the subscription. I'm not hating at all tho, Im just stating facts. That being said, without your patches and mods, koikatsu wouldnt be the game it is today so you deserve the support.

First of all, all of my ramblings in this thread are what rolls off the top of my head, so don't take any of it too seriously as I have no real idea what I'm talking about :) But I do hope it can help FEYADA and possibly others. The direct download benefit is definitely what broke the straw so to speak, but it wouldn't have spiked like this if a lot of people didn't already know and use these patches. So in the end I think it was a combination of adding the benefit and doing this consistently for a long time. I guess what I want to say is that simply adding more benefits doesn't help if there's no one looking at them. Also, if there is no free access then it's hard to gain more eyes.
